There is quite a bit of information that you may not be aware of when considering treatment and entering a facility.     Learn about treatments used when you decide to look into a specific rehab center. Many have vastly different programs geared towards your recovery. Find the one you feel most comfortable using. There is a variety of programs such as:
    • Group therapy and sessions.

    Find out what the regulations are when you are ready to check into rehab. There are different rules for each facility and some may have stricter policies than others may.
    • Find out what you can bring from home such as toiletries, clothing, electronic equipment and anything else that you would normally bring for a length of time away from home.
    • Find out if you can have visitors and when communication is available. Some centers will not allow outside communication during your initial stay. This can help you stay away from factors causing a trigger that leads you to your addiction. This may include the use of telephone services, Internet and even postal mail and in-person visits.
