How to Create a System Restore Point
On Windows XP machines, you can create a System Restore point, so you can revert your entire system (everything) to that one point.
Steps

1Click on the "Start" button, on the Windows taskbar.Ad

2Click on "Run" and place your cursor in the text box.

3Type %WINDIR%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe and press

4Click "Create A Restore Point".

5Create a name and click "Create".

6In windows 7 you can do like this-

7Open Control panel from Start menu.

8Select all control panel items by selecting view by "Large Icons".Select System on those categories.

9Select "System Protection" on the left panel.

10A pop-up window named "System Properties" would come. Select "Create" button on that.

11It will ask for a "Description". Type a suitable description and select "create" button.

12A progress pop-up window will come-up.

13After a few seconds the Success pop-up will come stating that you have successfully created restore point. Click "Finish". Done!Ad
