How to Remove the Two Extra CCleaner Options from Your Windows Recycling Bin Context Menu
When installing CCleaner, it's easy to miss two options that make CCleaner install two other options in the Recycle Bin right-click context menu. This article will help you adjust these options, so it makes it look like it's default values on that context menu.
EditSteps
-
1Open CCleaner from your Windows computer. A link to the software can be found in your Start menu, along with on your Windows desktop.Ad
-
2Click the "Options" tab from the left hand side of the program.
-
3Look for two options labeled "Add Run CCleaner option to Recycle Bin context menu" and "Add Open CCleaner option to Recycle Bin context menu".
-
4Click the previously checked checkbox to clear these options for both.
-
5Realize that there is no "Save" button, and that, as soon as you de-check the options, the options will become removed from the Recycling Bin context (right-click) menu.
-
6Check your work. Open your Recycle Bin's context menu, to see if they are still present. They shouldn't be!Ad

- When installing the program, you'll have the ability to not have these options checked initially. Just be careful not to forget to uncheck from the installation of the program.
