EditTips
- Auto-patrolling your own edits is convenient for minor edits with no chance for error, such as welcoming new users. This will prevent your edits from increasing the unpatrolled count.
- You do not have to turn on auto-patrol to patrol your own edits. You may simply click on "Mark as Patrolled" when you come across one of your edits in Recent Changes.
EditWarnings
- Please remember to uncheck the "Mark my edits patrolled by default" box, once you no longer wish to auto-patrol your edits.
- It is human to err, so unless you are absolutely certain you will not make editing mistakes, please leave the "Mark my edits patrolled by default" box unchecked, so others can look over your edits and correct any errors or improve upon your edits. If you are unsure, always err on the side of caution, and leave the "Mark my edits patrolled by default" box unchecked.
