How to Begin Crate Training for Pets
A crate will be needed for an animal such as a cat or a dog. If it's an animal such as a rat or hamster, you probably don't need to worry about it. But if it's a cat or dog then you need to crate train them.

EditSteps
-
1When they pee or poop in the crate don't give them treats. Scold them if you catch them doing it but not if you found out later on.
-
2Use only one specific treat for crate training. It should be the same as the treat you use for house training. Do not use this treat for anything else. This will make training them much easier!
-
3When they pee or poop outside, give them one of the treats, praise them and pet them.
-
4Continue this method of training even when they've figured it out.
