So you just got a glorious, flat panel HD Insignia TV. If you have Comcast, the next step after getting the TV hooked up is to program the Comcast remote control so that you can use it on your new TV. But there's a problem: Insignia's not listed in the TV codes! Here's what to do.

    Turn on your TV.

    Press the TV button once on your remote.
  3. 3
    Press and hold the Setup button on your remote until the red TV light blinks twice. Let go of the Setup button.
  4. 4
    Quickly enter the 5 digit code. If the code is correct, the TV light will blink. These are the codes per the Comcast representative:
    • 10171, 11204, 11963, 12002, 10783, 11944, 11250, 10463, 11564.
  5. 5
    After entering the codes, repeatedly press the power button until the TV turns off.
