How to Play Spore on Paper
Yesterday was your birthday.You got an awesome Spore video game as one of your presents.Today you arrived home from school, only to find that your little brother, sister, or pet destroyed the game card or Wii disc!Guess you can never play that game again... or can you?

1Get two sheets of paper, a pencil, and a friend.Ad

2With the sheet of paper horizontally, draw two rectangles with an oval or circle in between.In the oval/circle write "V.S.".

3Next, draw a rectangle under each existing rectangle.Each rectangle must be the same size.Make these rectangles a little bigger than the other rectangles.Then write "HP" (health points) beside each of the the rectangles.

4Draw a rectangle the same size as the HP rectangles under each HP rectangles.Beside each of the rectangles write "MP" or "PP". These stand for magic points/mana points and power points.

5Draw the floor and your creature.When drawing your creature, go wild!Make it the most strange yet cool creature ever.Then let your friend draw his creature.Color in your creature and floor if you want.

6Draw a background.Make it cool, too.Color it in if you want.

7Write your creature's name in the rectangle that's on the same side as your creature.Have your friend do the same.

8On the other sheet of paper, you and your friend will write five moves for your creature: an average move, a move that consumes MP, a special move, a move that protects you from your opponent's next attack that can only be used once per battle, and Guard, which reduces the damage from your opponent's next attack.

9Begin battle!You and your opponent take turns attacking and stuff.When HP or MP is lost, shade in the appropriate bar.

10The winner is the one that get rids of his opponent's HP bar first.All HP is lost when the whole HP bar is shaded.Ad
Tips
- The background and your creature can be anything.They can even be robotic and futuristic!
- Have fun!
- If you want, you can modify it by making it look like Final Fantasy with a party and stuff so you can play solo.
- If you want, you can copy a creature from Spore.
- Be creative!
- To make it really cool, draw your creature with a weapon.
Warnings
- Do not think this can replace the normal Spore.
- If playing in a library, at work, or at school, do not add sound effects.
- People might think you're weird.
- Be careful when playing this at school.Your teacher might confiscate the sheets of paper.
