NOTICE TO APPLICANTS TAKING THE COMMERCIALLY ADMINISTERED REGISTRATION EXAMINATION

Starting on or about August 6, 2010, applicants who have scheduled an examination and wish to reschedule to a different examination day may be charged a fee for rescheduling.

 

The examination administrator, not the USPTO, has adopted a fee schedule and guidelines for rescheduling an examination.  The schedule and fees are set for below:

 

If you need to reschedule an examination for another date, time or location, you must contact Prometric.

Rescheduling fees will apply as follows:

• No fee if you reschedule at least 30 calendar days prior to your appointment date.
• $35 fee if you reschedule two to 29 calendar days before your appointment date.
• Another $155 full examination fee if you reschedule less than two calendar days before your appointment date.
