About Committees

One of INTA’s most important assets is the talented and dedicated group of 2,700+ member volunteers who serve on its committees and project teams. Participation on an INTA committee offers individuals a unique and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the Association's objectives, network among their peers and raise their visibility within the international trademark community.

Committee volunteers, together with a dedicated professional staff, share their collective expertise, common interests and visions through more than 25 different committees that work on a variety of rewarding projects, including:    

• Policy development and advocacy.
• Planning educational programs and events.
• Developing online and print global trademark resources.
• Cross-industry benchmarking.
• Facilitating networking opportunities.

Education and Services (ESG) Group Council
ESG Group Council, consisting of the chairs, vice chairs and staff liaisons of the ESG Committees, shares information; coordinates operational issues; and provides guidance and input on member benefits, services, programs, awards and competitions.

Policy Development and Advocacy (PDA) Group Council
PDA Group Council, consisting of the chairs, vice chairs and staff liaisons of the PDA Committees, shares information; coordinates operational issues; and provides guidance and input on member benefits, services, issues and policies.

Law & Practice Resources Group Council
Law & Practice Resources Group Council, consisting of the chairs, vice chairs and staff liaisons of the LPR Committees, shares information; coordinates operational issues; and provides guidance and input on member benefits, services and publishing activities.
