Al-Razi

Razi or Al-Razi is the title of several Iranian scholars who were born in the town of Rey, Iran. "Razi" in Persian denotes a person that is from Rey, Iran. Some of the scholars with the al-Razi include:

- Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi (c. 865 – 925/35), famous Persian physician, inventor distillation of alcohol and its use in medicine, philosopher, chemist and alchemist
