The Utah Air National Guard Base is an Air Mobility Command gained installation and is home to the Utah Air National Guard. The host organization, the 151st Air Refueling Wing, aggressively extends global reach, power and humanitarian support for the state of Utah and the nation. The installation is also home to several associate units that also provide capabilites and support to the state and nation.

February 1, 1943
The U.S. Navy rescued Brig. Gen. Nathan F. Twining, the 13th Air Force Commander and 14 others near New Hebrides Islands. They ditched their plane on the way from Guadalcanal to Espiritu Santo and spent six days in life rafts.

February 1, 1950
Continental Air Command directed to set up a civil air raid warning system.

February 1, 1958
Strategic Air Command activated the 4320th Strategic Missile Wing (later the 706th Strategic Missile Wing), its first Atlas wing, at F. E. Warren AFB, Wyo.

February 1, 1959
The U.S. Air Force transferred the operational control of the Distant Early Warning Line to the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Senior NCO of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Wayne Ormond, Utah State Headquarters

First Sergeant of the Year: Master Sgt. Joan Cornell, 169th Intelligence Squadron

Honor Guard Member of the Year:  Technical Sgt. Jada Slayton
