So if you’re thinking how you can download applications, then worry no more; by using a third-party app, you can get Android Apps on your Polaroid tablet.

Method 1 of 2: Installing Apps Using the Amazon App Store

    Go to the Widgets section. Access your Polaroid tablet’s home screen and go to the Widgets section by clicking the “Widgets” tab on the upper-left corner of the home screen.

    Place the Bookmarks widget on your home screen. Select “Bookmarks” from the Widget section and place it on your tablet’s home screen; you can do this by tapping and holding the widget.

    Find the link to download the Amazon App Store. Tap the Bookmarks widget to open it, and inside you’ll find the link where you can download the Amazon App Store.

    Tap the link to begin downloading Amazon App Store on your Polaroid tablet. The app should automatically install once it finishes downloading.

    Launch the Amazon App Store. Tap the Amazon App Store’s icon on the home screen to launch it.

    Log into your Amazon account. Enter your Amazon account details on the text fields provided and tap the “Sign In” button to log into your account.

Method 2 of 2: Installing Apps Using Your Polaroid Tablet’s APK Installer

    Search online for APK files of the app you want to install. Using your computer, search for the APK files of apps you want to have on your Polaroid.
    • APK files are compressed installer files of Android applications that can install on your devices without using any kind of app market.
    • There are numerous sites available on the Internet, like http://www.appsapk.com/, where you can download APK files of your favorite apps.

    Download an APK file of the application you want to install. Most sites just have download links to these APK files. Just click on the link to download it to your computer.

    Connect your tablet to the computer. Take the data cable that came with your Polaroid tablet and connect it to the micro USB port on your tablet. Take the other end of the cable and plug it into any USB port on your computer.

  • You can also use the methods above if you want to install the Google Play app on your Polaroid tablet.
  • As per the Polaroid website, current releases of Polaroid tables haven’t be licensed by Google yet, that’s why there’s no Google Play app installed even though it’s an Android tablet.
