Steps

    Download the latest patch

    Press start in the bottom left hand corner

    Go to "Computer > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE

    Right-click "SOFTWARE" and select "new > key"

    Call the key "Blizzard Entertainment" (or skip this step if the key already exists)

    Double-click the InstallPath, and in data put the path to the Wc3 you want to up date (e.g. C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\).

  • This is not for pirated copies of Wc3, it's for people who have dragged and dropped from one of their computers to another, and have lost the CD/Serial.
