The Department of Commerce’s Internet Policy Task Force (Task Force), led by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), is planning a series of public meetings to further the discussion of certain issues of copyright policy in the digital economy. The initial public meeting of the multistakeholder forum will take place on March 20th, 2014 at the USPTO main campus in Alexandria, Virginia. Subsequent public meetings will take place approximately every six weeks, alternating between the USPTO main campus and Silicon Valley, at a location to be announced. These meetings will be webcast.
