Steps
-
1Sit in a swing, gripping the chains on the swing tightly.
-
2Ask a friend to help you. Have him/her spin you around on the swing until your feet are up off the ground.
-
3Swing a few times and gain some speed.
-
4Have your friend spin you the opposite way around, occasionally spinning you again to gain speed.
-
5Do not become scared. It only lasts for maybe about 30 seconds depending on how high you go. It may feel like you are going to fall out of your seat, but you will not, as long as you grip onto the chains on the side.
Tips
- This works best on swings built to go up higher, not the kind you can buy at a toy store, but a swing set at a local park/playground.
- Putting your feet up against the bottom of the swing makes you go faster.
Warnings
- Never let go of the chains on the sides of the swing while spinning. You will fall out and become seriously injured.
- Make sure the swing set you perform this on is sturdy enough!
- Do not do this often and stop if you are extremely dizzy.
