How to join the triage meetings[edit | edit source]

What
Open triage meeting for VisualEditor.
Why
To determine what work is necessary for this quarter's goal of making VisualEditor ready for deployment to new users.
When
Weekly (varying times to suit volunteers in different timezones).
  1. YesY Done Wednesday, 11 February 2015 at 12:00 (noon) PST (20:00 UTC) – IRC log
  2. Wednesday, 18 February at 8:00 PST (16:00 UTC)
  3. More to come.
Who
Vice President of Engineering Damon Sicore, Product Manager of Editing James Forrester and other team members look forward to discuss which bugs and features are most important to you. Read Damon's invitation to the developers community to participate to this initiative.
Where
The meeting will be an audio WebEx call, with a secondary IRC channel in #wikimedia-office. To join the meeting using your computer, follow this link. Linux, OS X, and Windows platforms are supported, but you might have to install the WebEx plugin to connect. Please test that you can successfully use WebEx in advance of the meeting, so that the meeting can begin promptly. Alternatively, you may join the meeting via telephone, using one of the worldwide toll-free numbers listed on that page; however, this will limit your ability to participate, and is strongly discouraged.
Agenda
  1. Release criteria review (10 mins)
  2. Nominated blockers review (45 mins)
  3. Other business (5 mins)
Pre-reading
Please review the release criteria ahead of the meeting, look at the nominated and existing blockers, and think about any tasks you think we are missing. To nominate a Phabricator task as a blocker, just add an "Associate Project" comment on the task against the "§ VisualEditor Q3 Blockers" project.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
