The stub tag was added. Chances are the requirements, age to test, etc. vary by state and country. Perhaps someone can include the most common topics to study, how one can practice, if taking a class is benifical, safety to know, different classes of bus, if there are different tests for driving a passenger bus versus a school bus, etc.
Again, I think each state and/or country may have its own rules but perhaps someone can add more details to the current page.
I've noticed that many seniors start driving buses to supplement retirement. Also, the flexible hours, benefits, and push for usage of public transportation are making this a field that more positions are becoming available.
