Modern is one of the skins which was bundled with MediaWiki by default. It is derived from the monobook skin.

Installation[edit | edit source]

This skin is included in the MediaWiki download tarball. You only need to install it separately if you installed MediaWiki using a different method.

Download and extract the skin in a directory called "Modern" in your skins/ folder.
Add the following code to your LocalSettings.php (at the bottom)

require_once "$IP/skins/Modern/Modern.php";

Y Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the skin is successfully installed.
