Tips
- If there are ever lots of fields which are filled in already, you may click the "Hide already filled Fields" link to stop these filled fields from displaying.
- During a major reconstruction of the app, not only can you import names and edits for all needed areas, but there are now separated areas from which you can pick. They now have separated areas to suggest categories and business hours, on top of the suggest edits area such as before.
- You can also call the company, and ask an employee for their web address
- Phone numbers and websites are typed with all the special characters including all parentheticals and the ://-formatting.
- If the app says its met all its requirements for the item, it may have inadvertently found a location that has other info to fix in another app. Transfer to the other apps by opening the drop-down button in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and try searching until it finds the right app or another place in the suggested location. It is especially common to have this happen when you search in a non-metropolitan/bigger town/smaller city.
- You may also click the "Next place" button to advance to the next item that needs fixing. Whatever strikes your fancy!
Warnings
- Don't ever use the search pages URL or any other fan page or any other review site for the location, when filling out the website field.
- When typing in an email address, always fill it is as the email is the email address to a high-ranking official for the company. Never use your own email address in the text box for email.
