Originally uploaded as "MulTorg Opera.gif" on 23 Oct 2006 by Seifip. This new version is in the PNG format and is exactly the same quality as the original but with a smaller file size.

Fair use in History of the Opera web browser[edit]

While this image is copyrighted, its use on Wikipedia qualifies as fair use under U.S. copyright law because:

• It is a single screenshot of a complex program, and thus does not perform the functions of the program itself.
• Use on Wikipedia does not limit the ability to market Opera. In fact, this particular version of Opera is no longer being used.
• Screenshots of copyrighted software are commonly displayed in both commercial and non-commercial applications.
