Due to technical issues, Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) is having difficulty displaying all cropped images properly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Users will be notified once the issue is resolved.

Problems Viewing USPTO Web Pages with Older Web Browsers

If you are using an older version of a Web browser, you may experience slow response or script errors when viewing pages on www.uspto.gov.

USPTO is continuing to work towards a resolution. In the meantime, your use of a newer browser should significantly improve performance.

All Payment Processing Maintenance

USPTO will perform maintenance on the Revenue Accounting and Management System (RAM) beginning at 10 p.m., Saturday, March 7 and ending at 2 a.m., Sunday, March 8 ET.

Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA) may become unavailable during the maintenance period.

All payment processing through USPTO systems may become unavailable during the maintenance period.

EFS-Web applicants may use an alternative payment method, such as submitting a deposit account authorization or faxing in a credit card authorization to 571-273-8300.

For Trademark Customers:

If payment processing becomes unavailable, but your deadline is today and your document requiring a fee payment cannot be filed electronically, you have the option of using an alternative method of filing. Please visit the TEAS Outage page for information concerning Trademark alternative filing methods.
