Steps

  1. 1
Sketch a circle and a rectangle. These shapes will become the head. Add in guidelines for the facial features.

  2. 2
Add an oval on top of his head, connected with a thin triangle and circle on top. This will be his antenna.
  3. 3
Draw goggles/binoculars. Inside that draw two circles for his eyeballs. Bender's pupils are squares, not circles, so make sure to draw them that way.
  4. 4
Draw vertical and horizontal lines for his teeth. Make them as straight as possible, and remember, Bender appears to have three rows of teeth, like a shark. Don't be thrown off, just go with it!
  5. 5
Draw a pentagon with a slightly curved top for the body. Add a curved line about a quarter of the way down the torso. Below that, draw a door.
  6. 6
Draw two circles for the shoulders. Connect his arms to that. Draw horizontal lines going down each arm. Draw a trapezoid for the hand and three rectangles for the fingers.
  7. 7
Draw the legs using the same technique as you used in the previous step. Draw half-ovals for his feet.
  8. 8
Outline and color your drawing. Use mostly silver/grey tones, and make sure that at the end of the process, there are no unnecessary guidelines remaining.
