Steps
-
1Go to marketing websites such as, EBay, Craigslist, etc. or simply just go to your local card dealer. Check out certain card's you would like to invest, or simply just collect for the joy of collecting.Ad
-
2You will need a place to store your cards. Depending on how large your collection is, the bigger the space you need. This may vary from simply, a box, to a 1-car garage!
-
3Store them properly. Storing your cards may seem simple, but this can be pretty time consuming, if you do it the right way. Choices go from throwing your cards on a shelf, to taking the time to sort them by team, year, brand, number, etc. Take the time to look at each card and figure out where to put it, depending on how you are sorting.
-
4If you are investing, remember to always hold on to your collection, and save it for years upon years. Vintage cards are worth more than new. If just collecting because you just like the smell of a new card, or you are a crazy sports fan, all I can say is, have fun!Ad
