EditSteps
EditMethod 1 of 2: Above Ground Fort
-
1First you need the right type of snow in the right spot. Go to a spot were no one will walk or get in the way of your snow ball fight. The snow needs to be wet, but not watery so it will stick together and it needs to be wet but not too wet. If you can make snowballs easily then that is the type of snow you need.
-
2Take blocks of snow and pile them up in a square. Make some parts of walls higher then you when you are crouched so they protect you. Have one on each wall so were ever you are you have cover. But dont put them everywhere else the only way you can throw snowballs is if you go outside.
-
3Before the battle make as many snowballs as you can so you wont have to when they are throwing them at you. Keep all the ones that you make in your fort.
EditMethod 2 of 2: Under Ground
-
1Find a big hill that is not solid ice or ground or even make a hill out of packy snow.
-
2Hollow out the hill and add a door way and windows by making about 10 inch long holes in the sides of the hill. Dont burrow directly into a large pile of snow though, the roof of the pile can easily collapse onto you.
-
3Make snowballs and prepare for battle.

EditTips
- Make sure that if you hollow out a hill that you leave about a foot (30cm) thick wall.
- If you use a blanket that is old and you get permission you can add a roof to your snow fort.
EditWarnings
- Make sure to go back inside if you get too cold or you could get sick. Pneumonia is not fun, kids.
