Method 1 of 4: Babysit

    Talk to your parents about friends or co-workers that may need their kids to be babysat.

    Go around your neighborhood and ask if any neighbor needs a babysitter for their child.

    Make a flyer. Add SOME personal information (email, not phone number) and say that you babysit. You can post flyers
    • in store windows (with permission of course)
    • at your local pool
    • wherever you can find public bulletin boards

Method 2 of 4: Petsitting/ Housesitting

Method 3 of 4: Lemonade Stand

    Kids love lemonade stands and adults love giving kids money for lemonade stands. If you can find a child (little sibling, young neighbor, etc).

Method 4 of 4: Lawn Care

    Usually, mowing the lawn is more of a guy's job. However, there are more things you can do within the same general idea. There is
    • pulling weeds
    • planting flowers
    • shoveling snow/raking leaves (depending on the season)

    Neighbors and parents most of the time don't want do lawn work, so they will be a pretty good target for gaining money.

Tips

  • Be smart with who you ask
  • Remember the season (don't have a car wash in December)
  • Don't expect a bunch of money

Warnings

  • Don't always work for strangers
  • Be aware of who you are working for (maybe google search if necessary)
  • Ask parents before giving out personal information
  • Never put a phone number on a flyer
