Thanks for your edits on Prune a Tree. Good call rolling back that link addition - thank you!

How are you liking patrolling so far? Looks like you're off to a good start! Do you have any questions about what to mark or what to rollback? Happy to help if so! :)

I'm glad you're feeling good about things so far! I took a look at the article you started, and I actually don't think it's a dup - selecting and adopting the dog seem like different parts of the process, so the titles seem distinct per our wikiHow:Merge Policy. What do you think?

I went ahead and adjusted the nomination to one based on incompleteness for now - but maybe you could expand on the topic? If you managed to add some more, fleshed out steps about how to actually pick which dog you want to adopt - maybe using some references and research sources, too, to verify the accuracy of the suggestions, I think it could become a really helpful guide!

I hope you decide to edit on it more! Just don't remove the {{nfd}} tag just yet, though. It'll go through the voting process for the NFD, and if it's looking complete and accurate, the admins and boosters will hopefully vote to keep it :)

I don't really know what article we should write.

That sounds like a good plan! For images, it's up to you - if you have images you created yourself and own the copyright to, you can share them here with the steps in How to Put a Photo in a wikiHow Article. Or, if you prefer, once the article has been through the NFD process, you can request images for it on the User_talk:Wikivisual talk page and the image team can take a crack at it :)

Hi 5K,

Sorry, had to rollback your edits on the Chris-G/Xhohx accounts (I have 2 id's). Basically, I've spent a wee revising my Related wikiHows to be in better compliance with policy and Krystle has thanked me for my efforts, so I think it's a job I can call well done now. Also, on my Intro and Helful Guidance Part, that's been revised all day over nearly all my articles, for an excellent reason -- Graphics needs to be included as a Cat(egory). Lastly, the Related wikiHows that an author-editor chooses to present with their articles should be related and mine are, just atypically so. My XL spreadsheets often deal with turning trigonometry and calculus into art, are lengthy and difficult to accomplish, but I have a fairly good following with about 380,000 article views in the past 2 years or just less than that. I'm an established editor, and I appreciate you're being conscientious, but it does take awhile to become familiar with my articles and marketing strategies. Hang in there!! You'll get it!!  :D We need good people like yourself!!

I have a little knowledge on Rottweilers. I know how to make things on minecraft in creative mode, like mob grinders and traps. But I think somebody already wrote a article for that.

Hey 5k!

Just a heads-up: I undid your rollback here because Savas was adding an NFD template to the article. Are you familiar with templates and their uses yet? NFD ones in particular are important to pay attention to, because only Admins and Boosters can remove those. In this case, I've actually adjusted it to a different code (accuracy instead of impossible topic), but the template itself can get patrolled through. If you'd like to know more about templates, just give me a shout and I can give you a rundown on them. Thanks for helping patrol! :)

Thanks for helping out on Recent Changes Patrol!

Patrolling is wikiHow's first line of Quality Control, and it's awesome you want to lend a hand! There's a lot to learn when you start patrolling, but a few guides can help:

How to Patrol Recent Changes
Interactive RCP Tutorial
How to Do a Manual Revert
Expert Tips & Advice on Patrolling

Some Patrolling Basics to Get You Started:

  • Article edits: If they're accurate and helpful additions, hit Mark as Patrolled. If they're vandalism or involve unnecessary inclusions of brand names or external links, hit Rollback. If they are helpful but are not in wikiHow style or format, or the edit contains mistakes, do a Quick Edit to fix the change.
  • New articles: If there's a blank space on the lefthand side, instead of an old version of the article, it means it's a new article. If there are mistakes in it, you can use Quick Edit to fix them up, or add templates for further editing. If you're not sure what needs fixing, just go ahead and skip them for now. New articles can be especially tricky!
  • User pages: Most edits here are okay. Only roll-back or question the edit if it's clearly vandalism by another editor or contains abusive content.
  • Talk pages: Generally, messages between talk pages that aren't vandalism or abuse are fine, too. You can mark them as patrolled, most of the time.
  • Discussion pages: Generally, most comments here are fine to patrol, but if you see obvious or repeat spamming, abusive or offensive content, you can remove it.

If you have questions, just let me know, or you can ask the Help Team. Thanks for helping out!

Thanks for the Wikivisual note! You got the link right - but what article did you want images on? I can pass on the request if you let me know. Cheers!

Ah ok! I see right now it's marked for possible removal, but I also saw your'e working more on it - great! If it survives that NFD review, let me know and then we can request images at that point. Cheers 5kRun! :)

Thanks for your edits on User_talk:Ejaz don.

Hi, regarding this message you left:

  • Remember, only admins can remove stubs. I rolled back your edit because you aren`t one.

This is incorrect. Any user can remove stubs if the content has been expanded so that the article is no longer a stub. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks for your edits on Add a Dashboard Widget on a Mac. I wasn't sure why you undid these changes? They looked pretty helpful overall but if there was an issue with them, let's chat and see how we can fix it. Thanks 5k! :)

Thanks for your edits on Determine Gear Ratio. I wasn't sure about this one either - how come you undid this expansion? Would love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks :)

I don't understand what you mean? You undid this change and this change, and both seemed like significant cleanup or expansion edits by experienced editors. I'm not sure what called for those being undone? If you saw something that was wrong, let's figure out how we can fix it, but it's a shame to see such helpful edits getting rolledback without the editors even being told what you thought was wrong :/
