Good But Not Great To start out, 21 Jump Street is one of the funniest comedies that I have ever seen. Because of this I was obviously pretty pumped to see the sequel, 22 Jump Street. Unfortunately though, the sequel never manages to reach the same level of hilarity that the first movie did. There are some good laughs to be found, they're just not as frequent as they were in 21 Jump Street. 22 Jump Street is still worth the watch, it's just I had been hoping for more.
Good adults comedy Not going to say too much, not as good as the first one, but still enjoyable, as they said in the movie itself, same everything, except for a little twist relating a love situation, very entertaining.
How could people hate on this? For some reason, I enjoyed this one much more than the first. I love them both though. I died laughing so many times, & I just love the plot. I wish there would be more, the ending "previews" (or whatever you'd call them) were great xD I love to see a 23 Jump Street one of these days.
Why... just why? This movie is just awful. I love puns and one liners but whoever wrote the dialogue in this movie needs to have his hands cut off. On top of that, can we seriously stop giving Channing Tatum a job?
Funny Not as good as the first one but overall I enjoyed it. These two are comedic gold! Even though I liked the first film better, 22 Jump Street brings the funny and for sure it delivers.
A lack of understanding For the reviews giving this film 1, 2, or even 3 stars, they are rooted in the mindset of somebody ignorant to the true comedy of 21 AND 22 Jump street. Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the two dirctors, brought these two movies forward with a complete understanding of everything wrong in the average comedy today. If you can start watching this movie with no preexiting bias because of some peoples reviews, do so, I believe that you'll be pleasantly surprised.
