Don't up date! ! Don't up date. I will be uninstalling due to the fact I already had all the knots downloaded then I up dated and now they took away half the knots and want me to buy the pro package to get them back. So until I get my free knots back 1 star. Crooks!

Don't update! Bummer. Downloaded quite a few knots before the update. After updating to current version, many of the knots that I previously had access to are limited to pro edition. If that was the case from the beginning, it would be fine, but to have an update that locks you out of most of the knots is very annoying.

Pretty good, but some problems. Animations work well. Good Tautline/Midshipmans hitch. Grief animation still wrong. Single carrick is poor as a bend - same structure as Grief. Some final dressings are poor - Bowline, Flemish bend and Blimp. Reef knot should be only in bindings to avoid misuse. Needs more loops like fig 8 loop, alpine butterfly, bowline on the bight. Rolling hitch should be in friction hitches. Needs more bindings, like chain hitch, marline hitching, strangle and packer's knot.
Ridiculous I got this app from an app that gives free apps everyday. Out of curiosity I wanted to see what it had to show and I can only say that although it's free, it's completely useless for most people. I shall be deleting it after this review, because I cannot see any situation where I'll be tying knots any time soon.
A little tweeking I would like a clearer description of when to use knots... 'binding' should be more like 'to join two or more things ... etc' and such as... 'a metal pipe and a tree branch'.... I think more people have a need to join things but are unaware of the best knot to use than know a knot and want to tie something with it. ?

Superb in every way - 5 Stars! ?????
I'm a fairly handy guy (surgeon) and rely on several knots in my practice. Nevertheless I'm pretty hopeless at learning new knots and remembering them, even though I'm a sailor and do some fishing. Knots 3D is the answer. I love every aspect of the app.
Great App - 5 Stars! ?????
I have 4 knot apps, and I use this one the most. As a firefighter rope skills are a must and this app helps keep me "knot prepared". The zoom and step through the knot using finger gestures is real handy. The author updates this app with new knots often. I recommend this app.

Fishing Knots Lite
MP Fish
1
Fishing knots of Mobile Platform Fish - is a program for your smartphone, showing how to tie knots.
Among the many nodes fisherman should select and use the right one. In each case - his own. How to knot weakens the fishing line? Which nodes to use for thin fishing lines, and which - for thick? Which nodes can be knit on multifilament fishing line?
The survey collected nodes for: binding of two fishing lines, tying leads, components for attachment of large and small hooks, baits, lures, swivels, fishing lines and the binding cord - and many other knots
For each node, tying method is described in detail. 3D node + illustrations of all stages of tying.
Describes in detail the properties of nodes. The estimation of the strength reduction for each node. For each node provides recommendations for types of fishing lines.
The application can also work without the Internet, all the nodes are loaded during installation.
Selected nodes are simple and clear three-dimensional scheme - this is the app Fishing knots.
Here are a few reasons to install into your phone app "Fishing Sites":
- The maximum number of nodes used by fishermen;
- Graphics extensively tested for intelligibility;
- The application can run without an Internet connection;
- Easy to use interface - this is not a website page with a bunch of useless information at the edges;
- Nodes are clearly defined by categories;
- Each knot specified attenuation percentage of the ultimate load of line;
- It is always being updated, refined and increasing.
Sea knot
Every day we were binding sites. We can say with them begins our day: we tie shoelaces shoes, ties, sashes. Going on the road, tighten the rope and again things were binding sites. When we go to rest, haunting us again nodes - on duffel bags, tents, volleyball nets, fishing gear.
In short, the rope (cord, rope) has been and remains an important tool in the hands of man. Today, even in space people could not do without the rope (it was a special synthetic rope): it was used as a tether at the exit of astronauts from the ship into space. For whatever needs or used a rope, it is inconceivable without knots made her ingenious interweaving, ligaments, and loops. Once we take the hands of the rope, we immediately begin to think how to tie it. This program contains instructions and descriptions of tying more than 70+ knots.
p/s The program is being upgraded and improved, stay tuned. Similarly affected by an English translation (machine translation) if you are ready to assist in the translation of the program I would be very grateful to you.
Please do not judge strictly due not an accurate translation of the text.
