Capitol

Capitol Library, located at 3969 N. 74th St., opened in 1964 due in a large part to the "vigor, vitality and enthusiasm" of community support, according to then City Librarian Richard E. Krug.

Capitol’s collection includes popular materials such as fiction, magazines, DVDs, music CDs and audiobooks. Popular programs are preschool story time and ‘Teacher in the Library’. Capitol Library is open on Sundays during the school year (October-April). The library offers WiFi, laptops for in-library use and two community meeting rooms.
