If you're interested in the snap-to-roads or speed limit features of the Tracks API, please refer to the Roads API. The Android Location APIs can be used to create and monitor geofences.

The Google Maps Tracks API is designed to help businesses track, analyze, and visualize asset movement. The API provides create, retrieve, update, and delete functionality on collections, entities, geofences, and crumbs.

The Google Maps Tracks API is experimental.
