          I'm not exactly sure what your question is. You can edit any textual files in Edge Code CC. There are not as many features for PHP as JS, but there are some extensions that add more functionality to .php files.

           

          You can use File > Project Settings... to specify a local server (e.g. localhost) for viewing .php files in Live Preview (though not all Live Preview features work with this setup).

          This helps to integrate Edge Inspect CC (https://creative.adobe.com/products/inspect) into Edge Code CC.
