Google PageSpeed Service - Terms of Service
By using Google PageSpeed Service
and any content accessed from Google PageSpeed Service (the “Services”),
you agree to be bound by our Google Terms
of Service as well
as the following additional terms of service.
Console.
Google may provide you with access to an administrator console,
through which you may administer the Services.
Accounts.
You must have an account and a token to use the Services, and are responsible
for the information it provides to create the account, the security
of the token or its passwords for the account, and for any use of its
account or the token. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of
its password, its account or the token, you will notify Google as promptly
as possible.
Privacy Policies.
The Services will be subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Changes to the
Privacy Policy will be made as stated in the applicable policy.
New Applications.
Google may make new applications, tools, features or functionality available
from time to time through the Services, the use of which may be contingent
upon your agreement to additional terms.
Modifications.
- To the Services. Google may make commercially reasonable updates to the Services from time to time.
- To the Terms. Google may make changes to these terms. Unless otherwise noted by Google, material changes to the terms will become effective 30 days after they are posted, except if the changes apply to new functionality in which case they will be effective immediately. If you do not agree to the revised terms, please stop using the Services. Google will post any modification to these terms to the Terms URL.
Suspension/Removals.
If you become aware that any content you submit to the Services violates
the Content Policy, you will immediately remove the applicable
content. If you fail to remove content as noted in the prior
sentence, Google may specifically request that you do so. If you fail
to comply with Google's request to do so within twenty-four hours, then
Google may suspend your account or your access to the Services until
such violation is corrected.
Content license from you. You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling Google to display, distribute and promote the Services. This license terminates when you choose to delete such content from the Services. You agree that this license includes a right for Google to make such content available to other companies, organizations or individuals with whom Google has relationships for the provision of syndicated services, and to use such content in connection with the provision of those services. You understand that Google, in performing the required technical steps to provide the Services to our users, may (a) transmit or distribute your content over various public networks and in various media; and (b) make such changes to your content as are necessary to conform and adapt that content to the technical requirements of connecting networks, devices, services or media. You agree that this license shall permit Google to take these actions. You confirm and warrant to Google that you have all the rights, power and authority necessary to grant the above license.
User Privacy.
You will comply with all privacy laws and regulations
including those applying to PII. You will provide and
adhere to a privacy policy that clearly and accurately describes the
handling of end user data to end users of your site or service.
Your privacy policy must adhere to the
US Safe Harbor
principles of Notice, Choice, Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity,
and Access if used to comply with the EU Data Protection Directive.
User Information.
Google processes personal information on our servers in the United States of
America and in other countries. In some cases, we process personal
information outside your own country.
Fees.
Google will provide at this time the Services free of charge, may charge for
the service in the future. In that event, you will be required to review
the additional payment terms and either agree to them or cease using
the Services.
Indemnity.
You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless
Google from and against all liabilities, damages, and costs (including
settlement costs and reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of a third
party claim arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
