How to Convert a Tripod Into a Monopod
Have a useless broken tripod hanging around? Repurpose it by converting it into a monopod!

1Remove the tripod head. Choose the leg that is in the best condition and keep it. You can throw the rest of the legs away.Ad

2Discard the rubber gripping from the base of the legs.

3Drill a 1/4 size hole out of the leg.

4Drill a hole into the tripod head as well.

5Attach the head to the leg using a screw and nut. Secure them by tightening the screw.
