Windows Mobile adalah keluarga sistem operasi mudah alih yang dibangunkan oleh Microsoft untuk telefon pintar dan PC Poket.[2] Windows Mobile adalah pendahulu Telefon Windows. Pada bulan Februari 2010, Microsoft mengumumkan Windows Telefon untuk menggantikan Windows Mobile, dengan sistem operasi baru yang serasi dengan peranti Windows Mobile dan perisian.[3] Hasilnya, Windows Mobile telah dihentikan.
Versi kini adalah versi 6.5 dan berdasarkan kernel Windows CE 5.2 dan aplikasi dibangunkan dengan menggunakan Win32 API. Sistem pengendalian operasi ini direkabentuk agak sama seperti versi desktop Windows daripada segi ciri dan astetiknya. Selain itu, perisian pembangunan pihak ketiga juga boleh didapati dan perisian boleh dibeli melalui Windows Marketplace for Mobile.
Sistem ini pada asalnya wujud sebagai sistem pengendalian Pocket PC 2000, dan kebanyakan perantinya datang bersama pen stailus yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan peranti. Ia telah dikemaskini banyak kali dan dengan Windows Phone 7 yang diumumkan di Kongres Mobile Dunia di Barcelona pada 15 Februari 2010.
