Is the HTML5 integration feature still supported? After installing DivX 10, the page at http://labs.divx.com/html5/ continues to give me the following alert:

"Your web browser does not support this popular video format.

Get the DivX Plus Web Player 2.1 with HTML5 support to watch this video. http://labs.divx.com/webplayer"

Hi Guillaume,

starting with DivX 10 and Web Player 3.0, we don't support HTML5 integration any more in our products. the reason is that now all modern web-browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari) have native HTML5 video support, include support for hardware-accelerated H.264/AVC video playback. so there is no need to install any add-ons in order to get HTML5 video support.

yours sincerely, Konstantin

However, when I use <video src="xxx.avi" controls="controls"></video> to play a video encoded by Divx 10, it doesn't work! I just get a black screen and the controls are disabled. My Browser is Chrome 31.
Can I use the <video> tag to play an avi video encoded by Divx? Thanks!
