Municipio

Municipio (Spanish: [muniˈθipjo], Italian: [muniˈtʃipjo]) and município (Portuguese: [muniˈsipiu]) are country subdivisions in several Hispanophone and Lusophone nations, respectively. They are often translated as "municipality".
