RealPlayer for Mobile Devices is available as an easy, one-stop-shop licensed media player that includes the most popular codecs on ARM and Intel based smartbooks, smartphones, netbooks, MIDs, notebooks and PCs that run Windows, Linux or Android operating systems. Evaluation software is available now to OEMs, ODMs and OSVs that are interested in bundling it with their products.

Announcing the Android Porting Project!
Developed by Google and the Open Handset Alliance, Android is an exciting new Open-source mobile operating system. Our newest community project is desgined to port the Helix DNA codebase to act as the primary media engine on the Android operating system. Like all Helix Community efforts, the Android project is a great opportunity to further our goal of building a universal digital media playback engine that supports playback on any device.

Helix Community footprint all over the World
As one of the largest multimedia open-source communities in the world, the Helix Community continues to experience strong momentum and grow membership from around the world. During the last year, 1,943,201 visitors from 216 countries/territories in 283 languages came to the Helix Community. In the same period, 17 projects were created and 109 companies signed up as Helix licensees.
