Electrolysis Project
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Electrolysis Project (or e10s) is a project by Mozilla for Firefox to introduce multiple process architecture. It is only available on the Mozilla Nightly and Aurora update channels as of February 12, 2015. It implements Mozilla's InterProcess Communications Protocol (IPCP) for communications with the Firefox parent process. Mozilla announced e10s in 2009, but development was frozen for a few years; it has recently recommenced.[1]
