Lab126, Inc is a subsidiary of Amazon.com, responsible for R&D,[1] and widely known for developing Amazon's Kindle devices.[2][3][4] It is based in Cupertino, California and is led by Gregg Zehr. In addition to the Kindle, Lab126 is developing other "easy-to-use, highly integrated consumer products to serve Amazon customers".[5] In 2014, Lab126 developed the Amazon Fire TV set-top device. In June 2014, the Lab126-developed Fire Phone was announced with cameras to track the user's eyes to give the impression of 3D.[6][7]
