MITH’s administration is responsible for making a determination as to what content we host on our servers. The following criteria are used in making this determination:
- The project must be actively maintained by a project director currently affiliated with MITH.
- The project must be secure.
- The project must have resolved all intellectual property issues.
- MITH must be given permission to host the project.
If a project needs to be removed from MITH’s servers, the project director will be given sixty days notice before its removal, whenever possible, and will have the opportunity to (1) fix the identified problem; (2) permit MITH to archive the project permanently in an appropriate digital repository; or (3) make arrangements for alternative hosting. In any case, MITH will make available to the project director an archival copy of the site and retain back up files of all of its fellows’ projects.
