1Go to the download page. Visit https://webform-sony.secure.force.com/mmdrdlm_e4ex96b9ks?lang=en_US&rid=frescue2 and complete the required data regarding your Sony memory device.
- The website validates if you really have a compatible Sony memory device before it allows you to download the software.

2Download the software. Click the download link and wait for the setup file to be downloaded.

3Install the software. Double-click on the downloaded setup file and let the installation complete. The file name is “MCFileRescue.exe.”

1Launch Memory Card File Rescue. Click on the Start menu, and look for the program under All Programs. Click on it, and the program will start.

2Connect the Sony memory device to your computer. Plug in the Sony Memory Card or the Sony Micro Vault USB to your computer. This is the memory device that contains the files you want to recover. Click the “Next” button to proceed.

3Select the storage drive. The list of connected storage drives is listed. Select the drive where your Sony memory device is inserted.

4Verify the memory device details. The selected memory device will be displayed. Verify if this is indeed the correct device and click the “Run” button. The recovery process will begin.

5Wait for the recovery to finish. You can see the progress bar on the screen. Do not remove your memory device while recovery is in process.

6Check files. After the recovery is completed, the recovered files will be displayed. Browse through them.

10View recovered files. Go to the destination folder and view the recovered files from there. You now have your lost or deleted files back.
