1Open the Windows 8.1 Update 1 PC to any app. Whether that be the Desktop app, or one of the many other apps you have on your PC, open up one of them.Ad

2Open the Charms bar. Press ⊞ Win+C to open it up.

3Select the Settings option from the bar that results.

4Click the "Change PC settings" option that is located at the bottom of the screen.

5Click the "Network" option from the left tabs area of the screen.

6Look for and click the "Manage known networks" link from below the "Wi-Fi" section label on the page to the right of the tabs section.

7Single-click the network name that the network has titled itself as, and click the "Forget" button.Ad

- Windows only included it with the Update 1 pack for Windows 8.1 (released in April 2014), so if you don't have Windows 8.1 Update 1, you'll need to update your computer to grab this feature.
- The next time you want to connect to the network, you'll have to type the password (if set) for the network, back into the list, since doing so, releases any data that has been saved for that specific network.
