wikiHow:Policy
You do not really need to know the policies to edit on wikiHow. You can do almost anything by relying on your own logic, common sense, and good judgment. We don't want wikiHow to have so many rules and regulations that it is no longer fun to participate. Note: Boosters and Admins should at least know most of the policies. In the NAB test, you will have to answer questions about different policies.
Our approach has been to establish an intentionally minimal number of policies with the intent of clarifying any common misunderstandings. That said, if you want to understand some of the finer details of the policies and guidelines, feel free to review the following pages:
- Anonymous Policy
- Assume Good Faith
- Brand Name Guidelines
- Copyrights
- Deletion Policy
- English Language Policy
- External Links Guidelines
- IRC Governance
- Image Deletion Policy
- Image Guidelines
- Internal Links Guidelines
- Merge Policy
- Proposing Policies
- Protected Page Guidelines
- Talk Page Policy
- Title Policy
- User Image Policy
- Username Policy
- Video Curation Guidelines
