Steps
-
1The first thing you will need is a hair-dryer. A simple hand-held hot air blower.
-
2Find a nice, easy to reach corner of the tint, and start warming it up with hair-dryer.Use nice long sweeps to warm the whole window. If it is a cold day, it pays to warm the whole window to prevent the window cracking.
-
3Try pulling it off a little at a time. If you warm up a little, pull-off a little, and repeat until the whole thing is off. You'll find that when the tint is nice and warm, it will pull off nicely without leaving any glue on the window.Especially on the rear window, with heating lines on the glass, this method is great, and you don't damage these lines.
-
4Be careful if you are using a razor-blade to clean off old stickers etc from the windows, they will also come off far better if you warm them up well with a hair-dryer first. On a rear window, be very careful to avoid cutting those lines on the glass, because they are the window heater that demists the glass.Hope this helps,Cheers, Lawrence
