Internet Explorer 4是微軟所開發的一套使用GUI的網頁瀏覽器，它是Internet Explorer系列中的一部份。這個軟體於1997年9月首次發行適用於Windows的版本。但之後也有發行過適用於Mac OS、Solaris、HP-UX等作業系統的版本。
该版本是第一次瀏覽器大戰中很重要的一個指標。在這個版本中，Internet Explorer首次使用了Trident的排版引擎。而其市場佔有率就在1999年3月的時候超越了60%，同月也被Internet Explorer 5取代了。當2001年8月Internet Explorer 6發行的時候，版本4的市佔率下降至7%，且Internet Explorer 5的市佔率到達了80%。至2004年為止，该版本的市佔率已下降至1%。
Internet Explorer 4的宣傳口號是"The Web the Way You Want It!"（以自己想要的方式瀏覽網路！）。現在微軟官方網頁已不提供该版本的下載了。
