Last reviewer is crazy!! This show is awesome You have to look deeper instead of being an over oppinionated jerk! If you werecsmart enough you would realize the satire and lesson phil learned at the end of that episode. From then on in every insident instead of grabing gloria to save or help her he learned to appriciate clair. And you must not have kids cause haily is the perfect representative of teen girls attitudes and lessons they go thru... The show is so awesome dont change a thing keep doing what you been doing. I love all of you.

Incredible writing delivered through an amazing cast I've been watching this show since the beginning and the writing is incredible. Sometimes it gets slow but a lot of shows do. The cast has incredible timing. I can't say enough good things about it!

Modern family So funny! Absolutely love this show.. Although it seems a little predictable i absolutely would recommend this show to anybody!!!!! Its a great tale about 3 different life styles and how they blend one BIG family together. I really like the writing of the show. If you havent seen this show DEFINITELY watch it. And for the haters who say its stupid, well you just don't understand it.

Didn't think I'd like it. Now I'm addicted I honestly didn't think I'd care for the show at all. I simply dismissed it. Then re-runs started airing on USA Network and there really was no getting away from it. If you're familiar with USA you'll know what I mean. The show is realistic enough to be believable without venturing into boring. It's absurd, yet each episode ends in a touching lesson about love & family.

One of the best sit-coms in history!! Modern family has to be one of the best written, best cast, best filmed shows ever. Was never a fan mockumentaty style anything, but with modern family the quirky camera work becomes a character of its own. This show is great. Clearly its well written..I love that its so unlike all the ridiculous shows that are on tv. Theres no stupid laugh track! Im not sure why those still exist. This is 2014. I love the characters, they all bring something to the show. Each episode is hilarious! Haley, Phil, Mitch, Cam, and Lily are my favorite!! Watch it! If you hate this, it means youre probably one of the narrow minded people into Two and a Half Men. Now THATS a bad show. Plus.. not everything has to be about sex, guns, drugs, and violence.

As you mentioned there are some great life lessons purposely put in the show, but if others don't think so then that's their opinion. You shouldn't judge them for it. Funniest Show On TV Great show from great writers, great cast! They hit on the everyday little stupid details of how ppl act or overreact and sometimes get so lost in ourselves that we dont see how it affects others around us -in a good way. Sarcasm

Like it with a few exceptions Modern family is basically a good show. Although like many sitcoms I do get tired of it after a while. There are however two main characters I don't really like very much. They are Phil Dunphy and his oldest daughter Haley. They are both disrespectful and immature and frequently anger and annoy me by their behavior. Phil's constant lusting after Gloria his father in law's wife as well as other women he meets is disrespectful to his wife Claire . He even once tried to pretend Gloria was his own wife to try to impress a guy he used to know in high school.He constantly lies to his wife all the time and rarely gets caught. I personally don't like him. His daughter Haley is incredibly immature selfish spoiled and not half as pretty as everyone seems to think she is ( in my opinion) ,I rarely find watching anything she says or does appealing at all. The other children are much more likeable. The rest of the cast I like and enjoy watching also .

Hilarious! I'm a late-comer to the show, and it is the first sit-com I've watched regularly since The Office. Yes - EACH character is heavily stereotyped and those stereotypes are a part of the overall humor of the program. Love each of the families and their relationships. I laugh when Haley sounds like Claire and I laugh when Gloria is so sweet, but then turns around and kills a rat while the guys are horrified. Every episode makes me laugh out loud! Love it!

The best show on tv for a long time! Love this show, All the characters are brilliant and complement each other, It would be pretty boring if all characters where the same! So can some small minded people lay off the negative comments and just enjoy watching one of the best sitcoms for a long time! Amen! 😂😇

Every character is believable and important in the grand scheme. Everyone has a funny side and a sensitive side. This is America's favorite family.

Hilarious! The acting, scenes, and characters are just absolute PERFECTION. The best thing about it is that the actor knows exactly how the characters act and feel, therefore making every episode feel like it's a real family and not just a comedy show. Also, the comedy is amazing. Love it!!!

This show is fun, happy, and true to life these actors compliment their characters and make them lovable, love the little things that go on in the background of some of the scenes. Terrific for everyone in the family.

Love it!!!!! Awesome show that progresses nicely while not ever trying to hard to get cheap laughs, the majority of people of different values can relate to the show. Characterization is flawless and every little hint dropped usually resurfaces in later episodes. Top notch writing with a top notch cast to support the material.

What a Wonderful Family What a wonderful family to snoop in on once a week! I didn't even know this show existed until it began reruns coming in on USA Network. At that point in time I had to ask myself where I had been all its life? It is a wonderful sitcom that shows a completely believable family of 3 generations. It is so funny how Phil's comments are telling more than he even realises to the children that reminds me of my own. The Dumphey's are my favorite of these 3 parts of a family, but the rest are needed to bounce off.

Not modern, what the director thinks is modern My dislike of this show comes from ideological disagreements with the show, and with how is not all inclusive, but seems to be claiming it is. Jokes are funny as usual, many morals are fine, many others are not.

REAL LIFE COMEDY I don't think any of us needed a synopsis of the entire program, since obviously we have all watched it. I love this show because admit it or not it's real life as it is today, with some comedy added depending on how funny your family is. I LOVE the show. No I don't like Phil! Not real fond of his wife either. It represents the actual diversity of families today and it's funny as hell! !
