Novabench is a freeware computer benchmarking utility for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The program tests the performance of computer components and assigns proprietary scores, with higher scores indicating better performance. An online repository is available where submitted scores can be compared. The tool has been noted for its speed and simplicity.[1][2]

Novabench was originally released in 2007 for Microsoft Windows. A Mac OS X version was released in 2011 on the Mac App Store.[3]
Limitations[edit]
Novabench does not currently take advantage of AMD CrossFireX or SLI during graphics testing on Windows,[4] although dual-GPU testing does work on Mac.[5]
