wikiHow:Image Guidelines
These guidelines apply to the insertion of images within wikiHow articles. For guidelines on how to upload images to wikiHow, read How to put a Photo in a wikiHow Article.
Introductory Images
- In an effort to ensure that introductory images do not confuse readers or distract from the topic, most images in the introduction will not display, by design.[1]
- The exception to this is large, landscaped images, which can be added if they are helpful to the reader. To use an image of this type, ensure it's over 625px and in landscape orientation.
- Use image code like this, at the very start of the introduction, and the image will show up: [[Image:Name of your image.jpg|center|625px]].
