A United States law, COPPA, prohibits children under 13 to contribute to wikiHow. We need to protect children who state their age under 13 on wikiHow. A good way to do this is to report on the Administrator Notice Board or tell an admin, and place the {{Age}} template on the person that's under 13 talk page.

Tips

  • Do not ask users how old they are. If they said they are under 13 (from you asking them), report them to the Administrator Notice Board, but you should not ask them.
  • Place your report below the arrow (it looks like this: -->).
  • Don't report an anonymous user. Only logged in users that are under 13 should be blocked. Simply roll back or remove the message that states the anonymous user's age and place the {{Age}} template on their talk page.
