Non-standard
This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.
Provides support for managing, and Open Web apps in a browser. A manager can be accessed via Navigator.mozApps.mgmt
Event handlers
DOMApplicationsManager.oninstall- Is an
EventManagercall wheninstallevent is received. DOMApplicationsManager.onuninstall- Is an
EventManagercall whenuninstallevent is received. DOMApplicationsManager.onenabledstatechange- Defines an event handler for the
enabledstatechangeevent; this is received when an app is enabled or disabled usingDOMApplicationsManager.setEnabled().
Methods
DOMApplicationsManager.getAll()- Returns all applications.
DOMApplicationsManager.setEnabled()- Sets an application to be enabled or disabled.
